The EVH® 5150III® 50W EL34 2x12 Combo offers signature harmonic overtones. With improved dynamic compression and saturation, it creates a modern 'British' sound. It has the sustain and versatility you'd expect from an amp named after Eddie Van Halen. This 50 - watt tube combo amp has flexible and independent dual - concentric controls for gain and volume level matching. It features three channels suitable for all playing styles: bright cleans, tight crunch, or soulful leads. Channel one gives pristine cleans and compressed tone, channel two provides overdrive and heavy gain, and channel three has rich liquid distortion. Channels one and two share EQ (low, mid, high) with dual concentric gain/volume controls. Channel three has its own gain, volume, and EQ controls. All channels have global presence, resonance, and reverb controls. It comes with two 12” custom - designed EVH Celestion® speakers to boost sound and style. There are seven JJ ECC83 (12AX7) preamp tubes and two JJ EL34 power tubes. You can adjust the front - panel power output from 50 watts down to one watt. Other features include an ultra - high - gain preamp for maximum output, a single instrument input, rear - panel selectable output impedance (4, 8, or 16 ohms) with parallel speaker outputs, rear - panel MIDI input and preamp output, a rear - panel effects loop, a headphone jack (which mutes the power amp), and a four - button footswitch for easy onstage channel and reverb switching.

Using this guitar amplifier is easy. First, connect your guitar to the single instrument input. You can choose the output impedance on the rear - panel according to your needs. Use the four - button footswitch to switch between the three channels (clean, crunch, and lead) and control the reverb during your performance. When using the headphone jack, the power amp will be muted, which is great for private practice. For maintenance, keep the amplifier in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you're not using it for a long time, it's a good idea to unplug it. Regularly check the tubes. If you notice any issues with the sound or performance, it might be time to replace the preamp tubes (there are 7 JJ ECC83S (12AX7)) or the power tubes (2 JJ EL34 Matched). And don't forget to take care of the two 12” custom - designed EVH Celestion® speakers to keep the sound at its best.
