Product Description

The Audio-Technica AT-LP60XUSB is a remarkable fully automatic belt-drive vinyl turntable. It lets you directly enjoy the high-fidelity audio of your vinyl records or convert them into digital format. This turntable can play both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records. With its USB output, you can easily connect it to your computer. Just download the free Audacity recording software, which is compatible with both Mac and PC (or use your preferred software), and start transforming your records into digital audio files. Besides the USB output, it comes with a detachable RCA output cable (3.5 mm male to dual RCA male) and a built-in switchable phono preamp. This allows you to connect it directly to your home stereo, powered speakers, computer, and other components, regardless of whether they have a dedicated phono input. The updated version of the AT-LP60-USB features a redesigned tonearm base and headshell. These improvements enhance tracking and reduce resonance. Noise is further minimized by an AC adapter that moves the AC/DC conversion outside the chassis, limiting its impact on the signal chain. Audio-Technica, a 50-year leader in phono cartridge design, has incorporated its expertise into the AT-LP60XUSB's Dual Magnet™ cartridge with a replaceable stylus. The cartridge is integrated into the headshell for reliable performance and easy setup. The turntable also includes a 45 RPM adapter and a removable hinged dust cover. Key features include: direct high-fidelity audio experience or digital conversion, fully automatic belt-drive operation at two speeds (33-1/3 and 45 RPM), an anti-resonance die-cast aluminium platter, a redesigned tonearm base and headshell, an integral Dual Magnet™ phono cartridge with a replaceable diamond stylus (ATN3600L), an AC adapter that reduces signal chain noise, a built-in switchable phono pre-amplifier for different output levels, and the ability to convert vinyl to digital with free software. It also comes with a detachable RCA cable, 45 RPM adapter, and a removable dust cover.

Using the Audio-Technica AT-LP60XUSB turntable is a breeze. First, if you want to play vinyl records directly, just place the record on the platter. The fully automatic belt-drive system will handle the rest at either 33-1/3 or 45 RPM. If you want to convert your records to digital, connect the turntable to your computer using the USB output. Then, download the free Audacity recording software (or use your own software) and start recording. You can also connect the turntable to other devices like your home stereo or powered speakers using the detachable RCA output cable. Make sure to switch the built-in phono preamp according to the input requirements of your device. When it comes to maintenance, keep the turntable clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the platter and the dust cover. The replaceable diamond stylus in the Dual Magnet™ cartridge will need to be replaced periodically. Check it regularly for wear and tear. And when not in use, put the removable hinged dust cover back on to protect the turntable from dust and debris. Also, handle the turntable with care, as it's a delicate device. Avoid moving it around too much when it's in operation to prevent any damage to the records or the turntable itself.
