The EVH® 5150III® 15W LBX-S Head is a compact 15-watt amplifier that packs a legendary tone. It's a unique blend of the LBXI and LBXII, with a dark and alluring stealth design. The LBX-S combines the Green 'clean' channel and the Red 'full burn' channel, offering a wide range of sounds - from clear, soaring cleans to a modern, high-gain Brit sound. It comes with four JJ ECC83S (12AX7) preamp tubes and two JJ EL84 power tubes. This portable lunchbox head features dual-concentric gain and volume controls for each channel, along with shared EQ presence and resonance controls. On the Green channel, you can dial in a crystal-clear tone or increase the gain for a bluesy sound. Hit the one-button footswitch to switch to the Red channel for a powerful, overdriven tone with long sustain. Bedroom players can use the 1/4-power switch to reduce the power to 3.5 watts and avoid disturbing others. Studio and live musicians can use this feature to get a compressed and spongy tone. The amp also has dual parallel speaker output jacks, an effects loop, and a one-button footswitch. With excellent construction, a fierce tone, and a unique style, the LBX-S Head has a black front panel and a black metal grill cage with a Stealth EVH-striped pattern. It also has internal LED backlighting that lights up the cage in green or red to match the selected channel. Like all Stealth models, it has an adjustable bias control port.
