Product Description

Since 1873, Epiphone has been renowned for crafting top - notch instruments and amplifiers. The Epiphone Electar, a Hawaiian lap steel guitar inspired by the 1939 original, showcases a classic Art Deco style. It features a one - piece Mahogany body and neck with an elegant Ebony finish. The back of the body has a non - slip rubber pad for better stability. The neck has a Plexiglass fingerboard with a traditional 1939 Art Deco Replica inlay and 28 well - set frets for excellent intonation. The headstock flaunts a vintage metal Epiphone badge. It comes with a 2.5' raised slide aluminium nut and Wilkinson 'Deluxe' machine heads with ivory - colored buttons. Inside, it's equipped with a powerful Epiphone 500B 'Blade' Humbucker and master volume and tone controls. The bridge and tailpiece are made of aluminium with a vintage - style nickel - plated steel cover. The guitar also includes a deluxe gig bag for easy transport.

Using your Epiphone Electar lap steel guitar is easy. First, place the guitar on your lap with the non - slip pad at the back for stability. Then, adjust the tuning using the Wilkinson 'Deluxe' machine heads with ivory - colored buttons. Slide your finger on the Plexiglass fingerboard and use the raised slide aluminium nut to play different notes. You can control the sound with the master volume and tone controls. When it comes to maintenance, keep the guitar in a dry place. Wipe it with a soft cloth after each use to prevent dust build - up. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. The gig bag provided is great for protecting the guitar during transport, so always use it when you're on the go.
