The Fender® American Vintage II series offers an incredibly accurate homage to the game - changing designs that shaped musical history. Each guitar in this series is crafted with period - correct bodies, necks, and hardware, top - notch finishes, and precisely voiced, year - specific pickups, truly capturing the heart of authentic Fender quality and sound.
First launched in 1972 as the premium model in the Telecaster® family, the Telecaster Deluxe was Fender’s first solid - body Telecaster with two humbucking pickups. The American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe stays true to the original, featuring a large Stratocaster® - style headstock, a comfortable belly cut, and a pair of Wide Range humbucking pickups on an extended pickguard. It has dual volume and tone controls, along with a 3 - way toggle on the upper bout. To recreate the unique sound of the original, we brought back CuNiFe magnets, which were out of production since 1981.
This guitar has a ‘75 “C” - shape hard rock maple neck. With a 9.5” radius maple fingerboard and medium jumbo frets, it feels amazing to play. Characteristic of 1975 production, it comes with a 'Bullet' style truss rod nut, a three - bolt neck plate with Micro - Tilt™ mechanism, and is available in Black, Mocha Brown, or 3 - Color Sunburst on an alder body. Other features include a 6 - Saddle hardtail bridge with stainless steel block saddles and vintage - accurate Tele® Deluxe tuners.
The American Vintage II series guitars are the true descendants of the original Fenders. They are built for players who love vintage Fender tone and feel, with unbeatable quality in every detail. These are the purest form of Fender electric guitars.
