Using the Electro - Harmonix Pitch Fork is easy. First, connect it to your guitar and amplifier. You can use the included EHX 9.6DC - 200mA AC Adapter or a 9V battery to power it. To change the pitch, use the 11 - position Shift knob to select a fixed interval. If you want continuous variation, connect an expression pedal to the EXP input. There are three modes: Dual, Latch, and Momentary. In Dual mode, the pitch can shift up and down at the same time. In Latch mode, the setting stays on until you change it. In Momentary mode, the effect only works when you press the footswitch. When using the expression pedal, make sure it's compatible. Store the pedal in a dry place and keep it away from extreme temperatures. Clean it gently with a soft cloth. Avoid dropping or hitting it hard to prevent internal damage.
