Using the Electro - Harmonix Big Muff Guitar Effects Pedal Hardware Plugin is easy. First, connect it to your DAW using the USB 2.0 Type B port or power it with the included 9 - Volt power supply. Then, you can start using it just like a standard DAW plugin. You can adjust the sound with the various controls on the pedal, like the Tone Wicker switch and Tone Bypass button. There are also ten presets that you can access with the footswitch, so you can quickly switch between your favorite sounds.
When recording, you can choose to record with or without the Big Muff effect using the 2 - in/2 - out USB audio recording interface. It works great on not just guitars, but also keys, drums, and vocals.
For maintenance, keep the pedal clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you're not using it for a long time, it's a good idea to unplug it from the power source. And always handle it gently to avoid any damage to the internal circuitry.
