The PG-13™ mini humbuckers were designed for Paul Gilbert of Mr. Big. When touring with Mr. Big, getting the right tones is tough as the band plays various styles - from acoustic ballads to heavy, fast, and bluesy songs. Paul needed pickups to cover all these sounds. He wanted a middle pickup to complete the PG-13™ set with the Neck (DP242) and Bridge (DP243) models. To make picking easier, the middle pickup is set lower, but DiMarzio used a mix of rare earth (neodymium) and alnico magnets to boost its output and match the other pickups. When paired with the PG-13™ Neck and Bridge, it adds a great new touch to the minibucker set. The PG-13™ Middle has 4-conductor wiring, neodymium and alnico magnets, and height adjustment screws for the pole pieces. Specifications: Recommended for all positions, no quick connect, 4-conductor wiring, Alnico 5 & Neodymium magnets, and a resistance of 12.11.

Using this DiMarzio DP246 PG - 13 Middle Mini Humbucker Guitar Pickup is easy. First, install it in your guitar according to the standard installation process for guitar pickups. You can adjust the height of the pole pieces using the height adjustment screws to get the tone you like. Since it's suitable for all positions, you can experiment to find the best fit for your playing style. When it comes to maintenance, keep it clean. Wipe it gently with a soft cloth after use to remove any dust or fingerprints. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture as this can damage the magnets and wiring. If you're not using the guitar for a long time, store it in a dry and cool place.
