Hard picking delivers a powerful sound, while softer picking is cleaner and quieter. It has strong bass and low-mid response, making the overall sound richer and bigger. The highest single notes have depth, and chords sound massive. Its patented dual-resonance coils reproduce more overtones than you'd expect from such a full-sounding pickup. It pairs well with an Air Norton™, PAF Joe™, or PAF Pro®, and the split-coil mode gives an excellent single-coil sound. Features: Recommended for bridge position (can be used in neck), no quick connect, 4-conductor wiring, Alnico 5 magnet, and 17.31 kOhm resistance.
Using this DiMarzio The Tone Zone Humbucker Guitar Pickup is easy. You can install it in the bridge position, though it can also work in the neck position. When you play, you'll notice that harder strums give you a powerful, bold sound, while gentle touches result in a cleaner and quieter tone. As for wiring, it has 4 conductors, so make sure to connect them correctly during installation. Since it doesn't have a quick connect feature, take your time to wire it properly. For maintenance, keep it clean from dust and debris. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it down. And when not in use, store it in a dry place to avoid any damage to the Alnico 5 magnet and the coils. That way, your pickup will keep delivering great sound for a long time.
