EVH Frankenstein Classic Guitar Pickup, Black

The EVH® Frankenstein™ Classic humbucking guitar pickup is inspired by Eddie's original PAF pickup. It was first used in the black and white super Strat® shown on the cover of the 1978 first Van Halen album. Eddie himself designed this unique pickup, which features 5150 winds. Key features include a 4 - conductor lead, Alnico 2 magnets, a DC resistance of 8.2K, an E to E spacing of 1.930” (49 mm), and it's proudly made in the USA. Specifications are a shielded 4 - conductor lead wire, Alnico 2 magnet type, a DC resistance of DCR – 8.20KΩ +/-5%, and an inductance of 4.5 Henries.

Using your EVH Frankenstein Classic Guitar Pickup is easy. Just connect the 4 - conductor lead to your guitar's wiring system following the standard guitar wiring practices. When it comes to sound adjustment, you can experiment with different positions of the pickup in your guitar to get the tone you like. As for maintenance, keep your pickup clean by using a soft, dry cloth to wipe it regularly. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity, as this can affect its performance.
