Product Description

Say goodbye to string guides with these amazing staggered vintage tuners. They boost the break angle over the nut and greatly enhance tuning stability. Whether you're customizing, modifying, or restoring your classic Fender instrument or amp, using genuine Fender parts is the best way to preserve its proud heritage and period - correct accuracy. Features: Traditional covered stamped guitar tuning machines with a 15:1 gear ratio. Comes with all mounting hardware, including both Phillips and flat - head mounting screws and bushings. These tuners were used on Eric Johnson Stratocaster and various Custom Shop models. They fit most vintage - style Stratocaster and Telecaster guitars but won't work with American Standard, Deluxe, Pro, Elite, Ultra models. Made in Japan.

Using these Fender staggered tuning machines is easy. First, make sure your guitar is a vintage - style Stratocaster or Telecaster as they won't fit American Standard, Deluxe, Pro, Elite, or Ultra models. Remove the old tuning machines from your guitar. Then, use the included mounting hardware, like the Phillips and flat - head mounting screws and bushings, to install the new ones. When installing, ensure they are firmly attached for better tuning stability. As for maintenance, keep them clean. You can use a soft cloth to wipe away dust. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they might damage the finish. Check the screws regularly to make sure they are tight, as loose screws can affect tuning. If you notice any issues with tuning or the machines seem to be having problems, it might be a good idea to have a professional guitar technician take a look.
