The GTX - 7 Footswitch is specifically designed for Mustang GTX amplifiers. It allows you to effortlessly select different presets and effects right from the floor. The looper buttons give you quick access to the amp’s 'Record', 'Play', 'Overdub', 'Stop' and 'Undo' functions. You can easily adjust the tempo for time - based effects with the Tap Tempo feature, and the chromatic tuner is available whenever you need it. A removable cable with 1/4' plugs is included.
Features:
- BANK UP/ DOWN SWITCH: In Preset Mode, a quick press and release moves up by 5 presets, while a long - press moves down by 5 presets.
- MODE/TUNER SWITCH: A short press switches between Looper, Effects, and Presets modes. Hold it down to enter Tuner mode.
- FUNCTION SWITCHES: These five numbered buttons let you select and control different functions based on the mode. Press to activate. Tap on the selected preset to change its tempo, and the PRESETS mode LED will flash to show the tempo.
- DISPLAY SCREEN: Shows the selected preset, effects mode, and tuner.
- MODE LEDS: Three LEDs on the far right indicate the active mode - Looper (Green), Effects (Amber), and Presets (Red).
- FUNCTION LEDS: A series of 5 red LEDs above each function switch below the display screen show which functions are in use.
- ¼” Jack for connecting a TS cable to a compatible amp.
Using the Fender Mustang GTX Amplifier GTX - 7 Footswitch is a breeze. First, connect the included removable cable with 1/4' plugs to your compatible Mustang GTX amplifier through the ¼” Jack. To select presets, use the BANK UP/ DOWN SWITCH. In Preset Mode, a quick press and release will move you up 5 presets, and a long - press will move you down 5 presets. The MODE/TUNER SWITCH is very useful. A short press helps you switch between Looper, Effects, and Presets modes, while holding it down takes you to Tuner mode. The five FUNCTION SWITCHES let you control different functions depending on the mode. Just press them to activate the functions. If you want to change the tempo of a preset, tap on the currently selected one, and the PRESETS mode LED will flash to show the tempo.
When using the looper function, use the dedicated buttons to record, play, overdub, stop, and undo. Always keep an eye on the MODE LEDS and FUNCTION LEDS as they show which modes and functions are active.
As for maintenance, keep the footswitch clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. If the cable gets damaged, replace it with a suitable 1/4' cable. And that's it! You're all set to enjoy seamless control of your amplifier with this footswitch.
