Product Description

The iconic NYC original! Hendrix and Santana were early adopters of the Big Muff Pi. For over 40 years, the EHX Big Muff Pi has set the standard for rock guitar tones. Contemporary guitarists and rock legends from Pink Floyd to The White Stripes love it for its rich, creamy, violin - like sustain. Key features include true bypass, an attitude - filled singing sustain, crushing distortion, adjustable tone, and it comes with a 9V battery. The pedal has an analog circuit, true bypass, mono audio. It can be powered by the included 9V battery or an optional 9.6VDC - 100mA power adapter (not included), with a current draw of 3mA. Its dimensions are 5.5' x 2.95' x 6.88'.

Using the Electro - Harmonix Big Muff Pi is easy. First, connect your guitar to the input of the pedal and your amplifier to the output. You can power it with the included 9V battery or an optional power adapter. Once it's powered on, adjust the tone, distortion, and sustain knobs to get the sound you want. The true bypass feature allows you to switch between the normal guitar sound and the effect sound seamlessly. When not in use, make sure to turn it off to save battery life. If you're using a battery, replace it when the sound starts to degrade. Keep the pedal in a dry and clean place to prevent damage. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures and humidity. If you use the power adapter, make sure it meets the specified voltage and current requirements.
