Upgrade your guitar's sound with our Pre-Wired Stratocaster pickguards. Crafted with top - notch components in the same factory as our legendary guitars, this pickguard is a breeze to install. Just take off the old guard, solder the output jack and ground wires, screw in the new one, and you're set to enjoy the pure Fender tone. These pickups have a bit hotter output than typical vintage ones and a powerful magnet combination. They create a perfect balance of clean, dirty rhythm, and lead tones, suitable for all players, no matter the amplifier. The neck pickup is inspired by a '54 Strat pickup with large Alnico 3 magnets. The middle pickup, based on a '63 Strat pickup, uses specially treated alnico magnets and is reverse - wound to stop humming when used with the neck or bridge pickup. The bridge pickup uses Alnico 5 magnets and has a special voice for a hotter sound without losing the sweet top - end sparkle. Features include a hotter output bridge pickup, highly dynamic and balanced output, oversize Alnico 3 magnets in the neck pickup, Alnico 5 magnets in the bridge and middle pickups, and a reverse - wound middle pickup to eliminate hum. Using this Fender Eric Johnson pickguard is super easy. First, carefully remove your old pickguard from your Stratocaster. Then, solder the output jack and ground wires as shown. After that, simply screw in the new 3 - ply parchment pickguard. When it comes to getting the best sound, you can adjust the master volume, and the two tone controls for the neck and bridge pickups. As for maintenance, keep your guitar in a dry place. Wipe the pickguard gently with a soft cloth after each use. If you're not using the guitar for a long time, it's a good idea to store it in a guitar case. And be careful when handling the pickups, as they are delicate. Don't expose them to extreme temperatures or strong magnetic fields.
