Using the BOSS Katana Mini 7 - Watt Combo Amp is easy. First, you can choose to power it up with six AA - size batteries or use an optional AC adapter (though the adapter isn't included). Once it's powered, plug in your guitar. You can select from three amp types - Brown, Crunch, and Clean - to get the sound you like. Use the traditional analogue EQ to adjust the tone according to your preference. If you want some warm ambiance, turn on the built - in tape - style delay. You can also connect your smartphone to the aux input and jam along with your favorite music. When using the phones/recording output, you'll get cabinet voicing for a better recording effect. As for maintenance, keep the amp in a dry and clean place. If you're using batteries, remove them when the amp won't be used for a long time to prevent leakage. Also, wipe the amp gently with a soft cloth to keep it looking good.
