Using the BOSS Katana Artist is easy. First, connect your guitar to the INPUT jack and plug the amp into a power source using the provided power cord. You can adjust the tone using the front panel controls and select different amp characters to suit your music style. To use the effects, connect your computer to the USB port and use the BOSS Tone Studio editor software. You can customize over 61 effects and save your settings in the eight Tone Setting memories. When using the effects loop, configure its position, gain, and series/parallel operation via the BOSS Tone Studio. For external control, you can connect optional footswitches or use MIDI. Make sure to place the amp on a stable surface to avoid it falling. Keep it away from moisture and extreme temperatures. When not in use, turn off the amp and unplug it from the power source.
