The Evans™ G12™ series drumheads are crafted with a single ply of 12mil film. This unique design gives you the feel of a single-ply drumhead but with the durability of a two-ply one. The film is 20% thicker than traditional 10mil heads, delivering a deeper fundamental tone and better projection.

Using this Evans drumhead is easy. First, make sure your drum is clean and dry. Then, carefully place the drumhead on the drum and tighten the tension rods evenly to get a nice, even sound. When it comes to playing, you can use regular drumsticks or mallets. Just be gentle at first to get used to the feel. As for maintenance, keep the drumhead away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove any dirt or sweat. If you notice any signs of wear or damage, it might be time to replace the drumhead.
