DiMarzio Relentless P-Bass Middle Pickup

The Relentless™ bass pickups feature newly designed metal covers that offer both style and functionality. Inspired by Billy Sheehan's playing style, we've refined the exterior. Billy used to modify pickups with epoxy to soften sharp edges. Now, together with Billy, we've removed right - angled edges from a standard P Bass pair, curved the tops to match the fingerboard/string radius, and mounted them on a sturdy 1/8” circuit board, getting rid of protruding mounting screws. These pickups generate 50% more output than traditional passive pickups and are extremely quiet, with almost no electromagnetic interference. We've enhanced the midrange punch, added sharp highs and precise lows. Their broad magnetic field allows you to bend notes without volume drop - off. The Relentless™ pickups can revitalize any bass, improve playability, and are suitable for all music styles from Motown to Metal. They also handle distortion well. Specifications: Recommended for middle position, 4 - conductor wiring, ceramic magnet, 11.84 Kohm resistance, introduced in 2020.

Using the DiMarzio Relentless P - Bass Middle Pickup is straightforward. First, make sure it's installed in the middle position of your bass as recommended. Connect the 4 - conductor wiring according to your bass's wiring system. When playing, you'll notice the great output and clear sound right away. To get the best performance, adjust your bass's tone and volume controls to your liking. As for maintenance, keep the pickup clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe off any dust or debris. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity as this could affect its performance. If you want to use distortion, these pickups will handle it well, but be careful not to over - drive your amp to prevent unwanted noise.
