The X32's expansion slot offers flexible and expandable connectivity for a wide range of applications. You can easily install the X-DANTE Expansion Card instead of the X-USB card that comes with the X32. This 32-channel 48 kHz bi-directional audio interface adds more I/O options to the X32, making it perfect for integration with Dante enabled IP networks. Key features include: a 32-channel 48 kHz bi-directional audio interface for Dante IP networks; high-speed 24-bit signal transmission with sample-accurate synchronization and low latency; the ability to interface with standard 100 MBit/s or Gigabit network infrastructure with DSCP-based QoS; support for mixed sample and bit rates on the same network; full remote control of the X32 using the integrated Ethernet switch; the Audinate Dante Controller application for full configuration and signal routing control among all Dante-enabled devices; the Dante Virtual Soundcard that lets you use your PC or Mac for IP-based multitrack recording and playback of up to 64 channels (license available at www.audinate.com); a configurable secondary connection for seamless redundant audio networking; and it's designed and engineered in Germany.

Using the Behringer 32-channel X-DANTE Dante Expansion Card is quite simple. First, remove the X-USB card that comes with the X32 and install the X-DANTE card in its place. Connect it to your Dante enabled IP network. You can use the Audinate Dante Controller application to configure the settings and route the signals among all Dante-enabled devices. For multitrack recording and playback, install the Dante Virtual Soundcard on your PC or Mac (you may need to get a license from www.audinate.com). When using the card, make sure your network infrastructure supports the required speed and quality. Avoid using it in extremely hot or humid environments. For maintenance, keep the card clean and free from dust. Check the connections regularly to ensure they are secure. If you encounter any issues, refer to the user manual or contact Behringer's customer support.
