Product Description

The Hama Okamoto Precision Bass® is a special signature model designed by bassist Hama Okamoto. His goal was to create an 'easy-to-play precision bass'. Even though it's a Precision bass, it has the smooth playability of a Jazz bass thanks to its slim neck shape. Specifications include a Precision Bass® body shape made of basswood with a polyester finish. The rosewood fretboard has a 7.25' (184.1 mm) radius, 20 frets, and white dot inlays. It comes with vintage-style split single-coil Precision Bass® pickups, a 4-saddle vintage-style bridge with a cover, Fender® USA 7250ML nickel-plated steel strings (.045 - .100 gauges), a red tortoiseshell pickguard, vintage-style 'Lollipop' tuning machines, and chrome hardware. It also comes with a gig bag.

Using your Fender Japan Hama Okamoto Signature Precision Bass Guitar is easy. First, make sure the strings are properly tuned using the 'Lollipop' tuning machines. You can plug it into an amplifier and start playing. When you're done, put it in the gig bag for storage and transport. For maintenance, wipe the strings with a clean cloth after each use to remove sweat and dirt. You can also clean the fretboard with a suitable cleaner to keep it in good condition. Avoid exposing the guitar to extreme temperatures or humidity, as this can damage the wood and hardware. If you notice any issues, like loose parts or strange noises, it's best to take it to a professional guitar technician.
