Product Description

In the history of rock, few bass players shine as brightly as the one who propelled the Red Hot Chili Peppers to worldwide acclaim. This Road Worn Fender Flea Jazz Bass perfectly captures the tone and spirit of this legendary bassist. It's a highly accurate replica of Flea's very own '61 Jazz Bass. The worn - down paint, neck plate engraving, and the well - broken - in feel of its period - correct U - shaped maple neck all pay homage to the original. With a classic 7.25' - radius rosewood fingerboard and a traditional 1.5' nut, it offers an incredibly comfortable playing experience. The Pure Vintage '64 pickups deliver that iconic single - coil J Bass tone. Specifications include a Jazz Bass® body shape made of Alder, a Faded Shell Pink color with a Road Worn® Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish, 20 frets with aged white dot inlays, and more.

Using this Fender Flea Jazz Bass is a breeze. Just tune it up with the Fender® Vintage - Style tuning machines and start playing. For a great sound, use the Pure Vintage ’64 Single - Coil Jazz Bass® pickups. When you're done playing, put it in the gigbag to protect it. As for maintenance, keep the bass clean by wiping it down with a soft cloth after each use. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures and humidity, as this can damage the wood and affect the sound. Also, check the strings regularly. If they start to sound dull or feel rough, it's time to replace them with new Fender® USA, NPS strings (gauges .045 - .105). Have fun making music with your bass!
