Product Description

The Epiphone Thunderbird Vintage PRO Bass is a superb reproduction of the iconic 1963 electric bass. It's powered countless hits by legendary artists such as The Who, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Cheap Trick. This bass features new ProBucker™ Bass Humbuckers, delivering rich and powerful tones. The vintage - styled 60s Tune - o - matic bridge and Claw tailpiece add to its classic charm. Specifications include a Thunderbird body shape made of Mahogany Body Wings in Tobacco Sunburst color. It has a 12' fretboard radius, 34' scale length, 20 frets, and Pearloid Dot fretboard inlays. The Epiphone ProBucker™ Bass #760 Humbucker pickup provides great sound quality. The 3 - layer (White/Black/White) pickguard with a black 'Thunderbird' logo looks stylish. The 1960s TB - Bass Tune - o - matic (adjustable) bridge with a 1960s 'Claw' Tailpiece and open - gear Bass Tuners with historic 'Clover' buttons (17:1 ratio) ensure smooth operation. The hardware has a Nickel finish.

Using your Epiphone Thunderbird Vintage PRO Bass is a breeze. Just plug it into an amplifier, adjust the volume and tone controls to your liking, and start playing. When you're not using it, always keep it in a proper guitar case to protect it from damage. Make sure to keep the strings clean. You can use a soft cloth to wipe them down after each use to prevent dirt and grime buildup. For the fretboard, use a specialized fretboard cleaner occasionally to keep it in good condition. When it comes to tuning, use the open - gear Bass Tuners with 'Clover' buttons. If you notice the strings are getting old or the sound is not as good as before, it's time to change the strings. Also, don't expose the bass to extreme temperatures or humidity as this can warp the body or affect the electronics.
